Matt is a California transplant who has spent his life around the game of softball. Matt has worked in Parks and Recreation for 30 years in California, many of which he administered the city softball program. He has been a certified umpire for 47 years, played both men's fast pitch and slow pitch and served as an ASA Commisioner for 17 years where he developed many new and exciting programs for softball enthusiasts. Matt was a tournament director for 9 ASA/USA National Softball Tournaments where he was awarded the "James Farrell" award 7 times for outstanding performance. Matt says he looks forward to bringing to the Western Slope and the State of Colorado his expertise in providing quality events.
Heather is a well-known advocate for slow-pitch softball players in the Valley. She has been scorekeeping for league and tournament games since 2018! She runs a Facebook group for the softball community in Grand Junction, CO and surrounding areas. Heather worked hard to gain interest and successfully started a women's league in Fall 2022. You can find Heather at the fields every week! She loves to meet and talk with all the players!
